Ghost Recon Wildlands Download PS4 Free Trial Now Available

Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon: Wildlands is now available for download as a free trial on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The trial version weighs in at around 60 GB and offers players up to five hours of access to the full game.

However, it's worth noting that the free trial does not come with cross-platform play, meaning Xbox players can only team up with other Xbox owners, and likewise for those on Sony's platform. Additionally, a subscription to Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus is required to play multiplayer co-op for the respective consoles.

Those who participate in the free trial will also miss out on the 'Fallen Ghosts' DLC, which went live on May 30, as well as the 'Narco Road' expansion, which launched on April 18. The trial version does not include the two expansions that are part of the full retail game.

On a positive note, the free trial includes the complete Ghost Recon: Wildlands launch title, updated to the latest version with all the newest bug fixes. According to Ubisoft, the trial is only available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles at this time, but more details can be found on the game's official website in an FAQ format.

The five-hour free trial of Ghost Recon: Wildlands is now available for download from the Xbox Store or the PlayStation Store, as announced by Ubisoft on their blog. The company invites players to visit Bolivia and experience the Blanca cartel's hospitality starting August 8.
